I have started on my holiday shopping today, as it is “cyber Monday.” Many of you might have gone out into the world late at night or early in the morning last week to scrape up some Black Friday shopping deals, but as for me I am perfectly content staying out of the stores. I can get the same deals and free shipping, so what’s the point in going out into absolute madness when I am stuffed and tired from cooking and eating? I just don’t get it but if you are a Black Friday shopper, then more power to you.
Getting started on holiday shopping seems to always be my downfall, except this year I was ready to get a head start and get it all done as soon as possible. I guess last year’s last minute shopping really did me in. I was looking at some holiday shopping facts and I found out that many people actually start buying gifts before Black Friday, and I thought I was early this year! Other people will wait until that day after Thanksgiving and more will start in December.
